  • This privately-owned hotel enjoys a truly stunning location, full of character and with a rich history. The hotel has been restored and extended to provide high levels of quality and comfort. 


  • Once a coaching inn, this property is situated in the heart of Wells, close to the cathedral.


  • The 2AA Rosette awarded restaurant is smart and comfortable with a short but ingenious menu, offering the finest locally sourced ingredients.


  • The team are proud to support Somerset suppliers and strive to use produce sourced within a 25 mile radius of the hotel.




Role and Responsibilities





  • As Chef de Partie you will be responsible for running a section, assisting the Sous Chef with day-to-day running, preparing fresh produce, ensuring health and hygiene standards are adhered to.


  • You will also help to train the Commis Chefs.




Candidate Requirements





  • The ideal Chef de Partie will have a good fresh food background, allied with a great attitude and the ambition to learn and develop.


  • AA Rosette experience would also be ideal, however this is not vital.


  • If you are passionate, motivated and looking to work for a high quality establishment, you could be the perfect person for this role!


  • Alternatively, if you are a Demi Chef de Partie looking to step up and you have a good working background up until now, this could be that next step you are looking for!
