Here we have a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef to work in a small team of 3/4 chefs in a local 3AA Rosette - Michelin Star level restaurant.
Due to unfortunate reasons the current Sous Chef has had to depart on great terms, and we are now looking for a replacement to work under the wing of a great Michelin trained Head Chef.
Offering on average 38 covers, this is an ultimately high standard small restaurant operating a busy high standard year round.
Candidate Requirements
Serving modern British food from Lunch to evening service Wednesday - Friday and offering breakfast and lunch to guests of only several rooms Saturday and Sunday, with Sunday evening closing early to allow 2.5 days off for this Sous Chef position.
We would expect a realistic average hours to be from 45 - 55 depending on how efficient the team is from start to finish and on the time of the year. And this would be from 9am till 3pm and then 5pm till close.

Salary reviews are also given after 6 months to encourage hard work and longevity. So, this is a great incentive.
We are also happy to provide live in on site for this opportunity. The room will cost £90 per week and be inclusive of meals on duty, all bills covered and Internet Wi-Fi
Unless you are very familiar with the local area, we would suggest driving is necessary simply because travel between the local towns may be difficult after finishing a shift with public transport.
