- Role:
Contracted Hours: Between 48 - Typically 2x 10am-10pm shifts and 3x 3pm-10pm shifts per week. This varies based on seasons and staffing requirements. The ideal candidate would be open to the idea of picking up extra hours during the busy summer season in exchange for overtime pay.
Live-In: Yes - Based in Rye. This accommodation is a short commute to the hotel and there is limited public transport, so a candidate with a bicycle, motorcycle or car would be ideal. The accommodation is available for free for the first 3 months followed by an all-bills-included charge of £800pcm after the first 3 months.
As a sous chef, the ideal candidate would be able to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef/Head Chef. Passion, a positive, can-do attitude and a calm, kind, firm leadership style are a must. The Hotel prides itself on promoting wellness amongst its team members and, as a manager, the ideal candidate must champion positivity, wellness and happiness. Creativity and good organisational skills are also important.
