We are looking for an Assistant Manager to assist in the running of our Inn, which is set in the grounds of our Hall. The Hall itself is located in the pretty Yorkshire village, situated just off the A1 and about 20 minutes from both Harrogate or York. We have 5 luxury bedrooms available for guests to stay overnight in which offer comfortable accommodation away from home and the restaurant can offer dining for up to 70 guests. We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our small team and to assist the General Manager in the day to day running of the Inn. As the Assistant Manager you will work alongside the GM and be responsible for running the pub in his absence. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring the smooth running of all shifts, staff management, stock control/ordering, cellar maintenance and cashing up. Shifts will be a mixture of early and late. Working 5 days out of 7 to include weekends. Own transport is essential due to the rural location of the inn.
