We are seeking a Head Chef to join a high-quality restaurant under new ownership and management in Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield, the new owners, and management have a proven track history of running Michelin/AA establishments across the UK.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Chef at our new restaurant.
The Bracebridge is a showcase lakeside pub in the heart of 4 Oaks Forest overlooking Bracebridge Lake, boosting a traditional British seasonal menu, this is the perfect spot to spend time with friends and family.
This is no normal pub; The Bracebridge takes traditional British classics and elevates them with amazing produce evoking nostalgic memories.
For a more relaxed atmosphere, you can enjoy the equally impressive culinary creations in a more informal setting outside. More casual than the main restaurant, but just as decadent, The Terrace is a fantastic place to meet with friends and take in the wonderful views of Bracebridge Lake – perfect on a summer’s day.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of the majestic and historic Sutton Park, offering a unique and memorable place to dine, drink and relax.
This role will involve working closely with the Exec Chef, playing a key role in the management of the kitchen and a team of talented chefs, ensuring that the high standards of quality and service set by our chef patron.
Proven track record of operating at similar level within highly regarded restaurant, applicants with previous Michelin and AA would be desirable however not a necessity we are looking for enthusiasm and passion.
A creative mix of homegrown culinary influences, technical skill and modern presentation defines our style and success. We are seeking highly skilled and motivated candidates, from a fresh food background who excel in these areas and have worked in similar restaurant roles, with other key attributes including:
A clear focus on delivering high standards of food, ensuring all food production duties are carried out in a timely fashion to ensure a smooth service.
Drive and determination to achieve performance and standards, both operationally and customer focused Team player at all times, assisting other colleagues when necessary Eye for quality & consistency Strong organisational and financial skills Experience and enthusiasm to contribute and fully support the running of the kitchen operation, including people management, combined with the ability to work well under pressure Highly ambitious with a desire to playing a key role in the continued growth and success of the business Fully conversant with all relevant legislation, including food safety and health and safety
