Role and Responsibilities
Cooking and prep of food, making sure it adheres to a 1AA Rosette standard
Ordering, stock rotation, labelling and identifying issues to be rectified
Responsible for the restaurant dining when there are events in the Hotel
Looking after costs and budgets
Assisting with management
Health and Safety – HACCP – Hygiene reports
Staff Rotas
Covering Head Chefs / Sous Chefs absence
The Ideal Candidate
The Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef we are looking for will need to be someone with a strong background at a similar standard. Passionate, creative, honest, and encouraging of others.
The role will be to function as the Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef of the restaurant, making sure that you contribute to the overall success of the hotel, restaurants and banqueting, in accordance with the hotel’s standards and financial goals. To plan, organise, direct and control all activities in the pastry department in order to achieve maximum guest satisfaction
