Using locally sourced, AA Rosette-standard fare, the menus feature traditional British dishes with an elegant twist and change regularly based on seasonality and availability of produce in the local area!
Located in a peaceful Dorset village, this traditional inn offers cosy log fires, flagstone floors and a welcoming bar combined with efficient service and a friendly welcome. Bedrooms include larger, stylish rooms in the main building or a selection of cosy rooms in an adjacent building. Food here, whether dinner or breakfast, uses the finest quality produce and really should not be missed.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal Chef de Partie will have at least a 1AA Rosette background with a full understanding of the fresh food concept!
Working within a small team you will be responsible for running a section, food prep, cooking starters or mains (be able to do both).
We are looking for a Chef de Partie who
Is reliable, conscientious and punctual
Has experience cooking from fresh
Has the confidence and ability to run a section smoothly
Takes pride in what they do and genuinely cares
Is mad about food and excited to learn new things
Would like to contribute to menu planning
Is proactive and always busy at work
Able to adhere to company standards and procedures
Is willing to get stuck in wherever is necessary.
Ideally has experience at 2AA Rosette standard or higher
