- Our pub is at the heart of the village community with crackling log fires and a welcoming bar specialising in cocktails and some of your favourite local beers. Our menu also celebrates local producers including our sister farms at Daylesford and Wootton.
What we expect:
Contracted Hours: 48
Shift details: 5 days out of 7
Live-In: Yes but not on site so personal transport is necessary.
As a Chef de Partie, you will be able to execute all dishes as per menu specs. Ideally, you’ll have worked with fresh food, in a pub restaurant environment before or you’ll just simply have a passion for food so that the basics come easily to you.
Your natural confidence will enable you to give calm and clear instructions during busy periods. You’ll be very organised and able to coordinate your station seamlessly.
Main Responsibilities- Execute all dishes as per menu specs.
- Deliver daily mis en place requirements.
- Ensure kitchen audit requirements are adhered to
- Sharing your knowledge and passion for food with your team
- Ensure your section is fully set for the next day with fresh MEP
- Comply with the kitchen health and safety procedures and highlight any issues to Sous or Head Chef.
