What we expect:
• Briefing the team at the start of the shift to ensure everyone is in the knowledge of what to expect and what is expected for the evening
• Stock control – weekly stocktakes, smart ordering, knowledge of GP’s, line checks, par levels
• Drink and wine menu developments – Good knowledge of wines and cocktails would be preferred but not required, work alongside the GM to develop the drink and wine offering
• Ensuring all cleanliness and health and safety guidelines are adhered to
• Train new bartenders and ensure all team members are keeping up with service standards and expectations.
• Opening, closing and cashing up procedures followed correctly
• Feeding back to GM general performance of team and bar profitability
