What we expect- Assisting the Head Chef: Support the head chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Overseeing Food Preparation: Ensure that food is prepared to the highest standards and presented attractively.
- Supervising Kitchen Staff: Lead, guide, and train the kitchen team, maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols.
- Creating and Designing Menus: Collaborate with the head chef to develop innovative menus, considering seasonality and customer preferences.
- Managing Inventory and Ordering Supplies: Track inventory levels, identify necessary ingredients and equipment, and place orders timely.
- Handling Administrative Tasks: Compile reports, maintain records, and perform administrative duties to support kitchen operations.
- Ensuring Quality and Timeliness: Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and meets quality standards.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during food preparation and service.
- Maintaining Sanitation Standards: Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintaining Professionalism: Foster a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers.
