A renowned gastro pub known for its warm atmosphere and delicious, locally sourced cuisine, looking for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.
- Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Manage inventory and order supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to menu planning and development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for food and creativity in cooking.
