Company Details- This Hotel, winner of The AA Small Hotel Group of the Year award and hotel of the year award Worcestershire is located in the heart of the Cotswolds and has two dining experiences the 2AA Rosette Brasserie and the more relaxed Bar and sitting room, both with real fires, and warming atmosphere. They have long been part of the Broadway village and a keen attraction for tourists and guests
Role and Responsibilities- We are seeking a dynamic supervisor bar with strong customer service skills, who must have previous experience, preferably in a hotel environment or similar. Cocktail knowledge is a requirement.
- The candidate will be a team player working alongside the current bar team, under the supervision of the Bar's Manager. This is a full time position with a competitive rate of pay depending on experience, working up to 50 hours per week with variances based on business trends. Live in accommodation can be supplied if required and rent will be charged on a weekly basis.
- The Bar has extremely high standards of customer service as you would expect of a high calibre 3 Silver star hotel, with a good selection of traditional drinks, large selection of spirits and a specialisation in cocktails.
- Lead by the Bar Manager we obsess about everything that goes into our cocktails; from the mixology of the spirits to the carefully prepared garnishes and individual glasses. Be it a twist on a traditional classic or an in-house developed cocktail, the whole team gets involved when redesigning or re developing cocktails to keep our seasonal cocktail list exciting for both our customers and team alike.
Candidate Requirements- High levels of customer service with a personalised touch
- Able to work on own and part of a team
- Must have at least 3 years previous experience in bar work
- Experienced bar tender, who wants to take the next step
- Strong knowledge of cocktails and spirits an advantage
- Assist in design of cocktail menus
- Cellar management
- Ordering and managing stock rotation
- Will be trained to be a Duty Manager, role will include
- Cashing up
- Dealing with complaints
- Floor management
- Knowledge of Cellar management
- Only those bartenders eligible to work in the UK or have valid work permit/visa will be considered for the above position.
