Shift Details: Ideally 4 days focusing on the needs of the business, Flexibility around a four day week.
Live-In: No
Directly responsible for all Front of House Operations specifically in relation to Weddings & Events, Bar, Bedrooms and Kitchen.
Host and manage all events to the best quality, ability and efficiency and to ensure others do the same in your absence.
Deputize in the absence of the Hotel Manager in the operation of on a day by day, week by week basis.
Actively increase operational sales in particular Bar Revenue and Upsells.
Ensure all direct report employees are maintaining their own responsibilities.
Ensure accurate and efficient cashing up procedures are in place so that the banking can be provided to the General Manager in an orderly and timely manner.
Lead the operational training of relevant team members – existing and new.
Input operational procedures that best reflect the values and culture.
Ensure accurate pricing of items and management of the Hotel’s till system.
Ensure the organization of all equipment, storage areas and the back of house areas including Staff spaces.
Have a sound knowledge of all systems in the Hotel to ensure smooth running of the business.
Responsible for the Health, Safety and Security of Team Members whilst onsite.
Manage Food & Beverage Rotas, Holiday Management and to provide accurate monthly payroll information to the General Manager.
Work with Heads of Department throughout the Hotel to ensure an efficient, enjoyable and productive working environment and to ensure all Team Members do the same.
