The main responsibilities of the Restaurant Manager role will include (but are not limited to):- Responsible for the Food & Beverage business and product of the hotel, driving profitability, providing leadership, guidance, and direction to the team to provide the highest quality in standards and service.
- Ensure that the quality of product and service is beyond the expectations of the guests and achieve a 5-star environment with hotel guests expected standards maintained.
- To control all costs in line with the department budget. Specifically ensuring that payroll controls are in place and in line with current budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure the team are familiar with the products and services available across the department.
- Provide focus, direction and coordination to the Restaurant team to ensure that the guest journey is seamless, and delivers a 5-star experience
- Appraise as agreed the performance and development of the Restaurant team members ensuring regular targets and objectives are set and reviewed.
- Become an integral part of the hotel management operating team by attending weekly meetings and participating in duty management where necessary.
- Provide focus, direction and coordination to the team to ensure that the guest journey is seamless.
