Live-In: Employer-provided relocation package
The main responsibilities of one of our Sous Chefs will include (but are not limited to):- Monitor the quality and presentation of all food served to ensure that it is up to The Pheasant Hotel's standard
- Plan and place orders to selected food suppliers on a daily and weekly basis to ensure stock availability
- Check all fridges to ensure they are stocked with the necessary ingredients in preparation for service and highlight any stock shortages to a senior chef
- Be able to meet deadlines and work calmly under pressure, to willingly undertake any tasks when requested by a senior member of the team
- Be creative in order to help with suggestions on new menus and dish ideas
- Train, coach and aid the development of junior chefs within the kitchen
