The site is a true country pub in Kintbury, not too far from Newbury and Hungerford. The property has a well-stocked and homely bar, a slightly more formal dining room, private dining and the most incredible garden, with the river on one side and the canal on the other. The menu champions local and seasonal produce, making the most of game when it is in season.
Role and Responsibilities
As Chef de Partie in this busy hotel. you will report to the Head Chef and Sous Chef and cater for hotel residents as well as a variety of events including weddings and corporate functions.
This company believes in developing its teams so you will be treated as a professional whilst gaining some great experience in an establishment with a great reputation for food and beverage excellence.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for CDP who
Is reliable, conscientious and punctual
Has experience cooking from fresh
Has the confidence and ability to run a section smoothly
Takes pride in what they do and genuinely cares
Ideally has experience at 1AA Rosette standard of higher
Is used to high volume and thrives on it
Is mad about food and excited to learn new things
Is proactive and always busy at work
Able to adhere to company standards and procedures
Is willing to get stuck in wherever is necessary.
Experience with a pizza oven and cooking breakfasts would be an advantage
