We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to join a high-quality restaurant under new ownership and management in Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield, the new owners and management have a proven track history of running Michelin/AA establishments across the UK
Applicants should have experience at similar restaurants and have a passion for social dining food focussed on British seasonal produce.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Restaurant Manager at our new restaurant.
The Bracebridge is a showcase lakeside pub in the heart of 4 Oaks Forest overlooking Bracebridge Lake, boosting a traditional British seasonal menu, this is the perfect spot to spend time with friends and family.
This is no normal pub; The Bracebridge takes traditional British classics and elevates them with amazing produce evoking nostalgic memories.
For a more relaxed atmosphere, you can enjoy the equally impressive culinary creations in a more informal setting outside. More casual than the main restaurant, but just as decadent, The Terrace is a fantastic place to meet with friends and take in the wonderful views of Bracebridge Lake – perfect on a summer’s day.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of the majestic and historic Sutton Park, offering a unique and memorable place to dine, drink and relax.
This role will involve working closely with the Head Chef, playing a key role in the management of the restaurant and a team of talented chefs and front of house team, ensuring that the high standards of quality and service set by our chef patron and directors.
As Restaurant manager you will make sure their premises run smoothly and that customers are satisfied. They have responsibilities both ‘front of house’ (the part of the restaurant used by customers) and ‘back of house’ (the parts that customers don’t see, such as kitchens and storage areas).
The restaurant is a 58 cover venue operating Wednesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, we are small team providing high quality service to a wide range of customers
As Restaurant manager you will need to have proven track history of operating similar restaurant operations and show a high desire for good service levels.
Typical duties include:
Recruiting, training and supervising staff.
Agreeing and managing budgets.
Creating staffing rotas.
Planning menus.
Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation.
Promoting and marketing the business.
Overseeing stock levels and ordering supplies.
Handling customer enquiries and complaints.
Taking reservations.
Greeting and advising customers.
Problem solving.
Preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports.
Keeping statistical and financial records.
Assessing and improving profitability.
Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives.
Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.
