£28,000 plus TRONC
45 hours per week

The site located in Faccombe is a stunning 5 Star Inn which remains at the hub of the community and offers a seasonally focused menu using the very best fresh ingredients sourced from the surrounding Estate and farmland alongside real ales, fine wines and cigars.
The site has space for 90 covers spread across the dining areas and public bar with an additional 100+ covers in the idyllic outside space with breath taking views.
The refurbishment included a considerable investment on the new state of the art kitchen with induction, combination oven, and a fantastic layout with the capacity to operate up to 200 covers at a time with further opportunities to cater for large functions. Game being key to the estate there will be shoot lunches, elevenses and full shoot party dinners right through the season.
Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an existing Sous Chef but would consider a strong Chef de Partie looking to make the next step in their career. Highly competitive rates of pay are offered as well as further opportunities for training, development and progression within a well-established and growing company.
Candidate Requirements
Is reliable, conscientious and punctual
Has experience in busy kitchens at 1AA Rosette level or higher
Gets excited about using fresh, seasonal and local produce
Takes pride in what they do and genuinely cares
Has a passion and flair for cooking and can contribute to menu ideas
Understands the importance of food margin control and has the skills to achieve it.
Is proactive and always busy at work
Able to motivate and train junior members of the team
Works well under pressure
Is able to support the Head Chef and look after the kitchen properly in their absence
Is able to communicate daily to the relevant departments
Is able to adhere to company standards and procedures and can hit financial and management targets
Has a good working knowledge of HACCP and COSHH
Level 2 certification in food hygiene
