What we expect- You will need your own transport as we are in the beautiful Kentish countryside, but parking is available.
- We are looking for a hard-working, creative, and passionate industry professional with some previous experience preferred but not a necessity.
- 2AA Rosette level of confidence with similar background desired
- Oversee the kitchen staff, delegating tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with the head chef in creating and developing new menu items.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff.
- Assist in managing inventory levels for food and kitchen supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers.
- Work with the head chef to develop and monitor budgets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- Assist in creating staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all kitchen shifts.
- Manage kitchen staff performance.
- Assist in planning and executing culinary events.
- Lead by example and demonstrate strong leadership skills in the kitchen.
