We are looking for a Sous Chef to join the team in this 2AA Rosette venue, a recently refurbished 17th century property situated in the heart of Stow-on-the-Wold.
This Cotswolds' Boutique Hotel provides a fantastic career opportunity for a Sous Chef, looking to join a growing business where they can develop further and become an integral part of the team!
The property is located just 40 minutes from Cheltenham and 1 hour 30 minutes from London via the train.
Role and Responsibilities
With a maximum of 48 hours per week (rarely exceeded and any overtime paid), 5 days on and 2 days off with 2 consecutive days off each week, a healthy work-life balance can be achieved.
Working with a team of 7 in the kitchen to maintain the 2AA Rosette standards and high quality, they are looking at pushing for 3AA Rosettes next year, making this a great time to come on-board!
The business is growing and has big plans for the future.
This wonderful venue delivers a casual fine dining experience in the evenings, aiming for a slick but non fussy service. Lunch is a much more casual service to meet the needs of the passing trade in Stow on the Wold.
Live-In accomodation is available - this is a well-kept, converted house, situated on-site - costing just £35 per week!
Candidate Requirements
The ideal Sous Chef will have a strong fresh food background with solid fresh cooking experience.
If you have worked at 1AA / 2AA Rosette standards before, that would be ideal.
It is important that you are passionate and ambitious!
