A warm and stylish 17th century restaurant styled pub with authentic pitched beamed ceilings, wooden floors and doors onto a splendid modern terrace.
Located very close to Maidenhead town centre and just 30 minutes outside of London.
Serving great British food cooked to perfection using the best seasonal produce, sourced locally whenever possible.
The food is not pretentious, but rather embraces the flavours of the produce without disguising them with unfamiliar ingredients and complicated cooking methods.
Built around prime seasonal ingredients, simplicity and bold flavour, while looking smart on the plate!
In 2008 the team gained a Bib Gourmand, later in 2010 attaining a Michelin star, which the venue held for 8 years across 3 different chefs.
Currently the property holds 3AA Rosettes and is recognised by The Michelin Guide, AA Restaurant Guide, The Good Food Guide and Top 50 Gastropubs, just to name a few.
Role and Responsibilities
As Chef de Partie you will run the garnish and larder section, overseeing the Commis Chef and coming up with new dish developments.
Working with a fantastic team of 7, you will become an essential part of this successful and well-known venue
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal Chef de Partie will have a good background working with fresh food. You will be ambitious and passionate wanting to push and develop yourself.
Rosette experience would be ideal; however, this is not vital.
If you have the right attitude, determination and drive, this may well be the place for you!
