A fantastic English country pub standing by the River near the village cricket pitch, overlooking unspoilt Cotswold countryside with an apple orchard to the rear.
The kitchen sources seasonal ingredients with great care, producing skillfully rendered dishes!
With two cottage-style front rooms, replete with worn flagstones, crackling log fires, low beams and country furnishings, leading through to a bar and classy conservatory extension.
The venue specialises in serving first-class pub food.
Role and Responsibilities
As Sous Chef you will be required to run the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef and step up where required to cover his days off, ensuring the smooth running of the Restaurant.
You will be working with good, fresh locally sourced produce and will assist in maintaining the consistent high standards. You will be a key part of driving the business forward.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal Sous Chef will be ambitious, take great pride in their work, be able to work well as part of a team with the ability to cope well under pressure, consistently working to a high standard.
1AA / 2AA Rosette experience would be ideal, however this is not vital. If you have a great attitude with a good fresh food background, this would put you in good position for this role!
